About us
SOGEPAL is a Mozambican company, wholly owned by Mozambicans, founded in 2010, which operates in the renewable energy sector, particularly in the production of improved cookestoves. This is a technology developed entirely by us, with an energy efficiency of 45 per cent. We are the largest company producing this product in the country and a benchmark company in the south of the country.

Production and distribution of Improved Coockstoves
Improved aluminium stoves that uses charcoal as fuel and saves 45% of charcoal use compared to a conventional/traditional charcoal stove.
It saves around 45% of the household income associated with the purchase of cooking fuel.
- The cookers are easy to transport and weigh around 7kg;
- Capable of supporting pans weighing up to 100kg;
- Lasts up to 2 years, renewable for the same period;
- Easy to clean/wash; and
- It has air vents that facilitate complete combustion of the charcoal.
